Most infrared heaters use quartz bulbs to generate the heat and the bulbs have proven to be a maintenance issue. The ECO-heater Infrared Heater is superior for three reasons. First of all, unlike other infrared heaters which rely on quartz bulbs, our infrared heater uses a Positive Thermal Coefficient (PTC) Ceramic heating element that is guaranteed for 5 years. Secondly, this unit has a built in humidifier that emits a micro burst of water vapor every two minutes into the path of the ceramic element. The third improvement in this heater is that it has a built in UV air sanitizer that has been proven to eliminate viruses including the H1N1 strand without chemicals.
